A Millennium Message

A time for hope
A time to cheer
As a new Millennium
Is finally here.

The hope for peace
A time to love
A renewal of faith
To the Lord above.

An end to war
A unity of race
Will make the world
A better place.

A reaching out
A fellowship of hearts
Will keep us together
Instead of apart.

An end to violence
Drugs and Crime
Is the goal of the Millennium
We must seek to find.

A better world
A better time
A place where human beings
Are kind.

A time to turn to prayer
To believe the best will be
To share that inner strength
For all the world to see.

So take this Millennium message
And make the dream come true
As as things begin to happen
You'll know it was because of "you."
