Oh Jesus, Please Don't Let Me

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Worry about those I love.
Help me remember Your protection
You send from up above.

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Falter on my way,
Enough for me to fall down
As I know I sometimes may.

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Say something I'll regret
To hurt someone else in such a way
That I will never forget.

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Take for granted all I've been given,
Like my family and all my friends
Like the simple joy of living.

Oh Jesus please don't let me
Ever forget Your peace
You give to those who trust in You,
Oh never let it cease!

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Forget the grace You gave
To me a wayward sinner
That You would care to save.

Oh Jesus, please don't let me
Stop showing how much I care
To those I love the very most,
As I lift them up in prayer.

Fin'ly Jesus, please don't let me
Let my light burn cold,
So that when I go and live with You
I can wear a Crown of Gold!
