The Word is Love

Sunshine without sun, though only a name,
Without the key word, the whole's not the same.

Take for example, this Holiday Season,
Reflect for a moment, and consider the Reason.

The meaning and purpose, of Christmas is Christ,
Like the sweetness in sugar, and flavor in spice.

He's the fragrance in perfume, in the salt He's the taste,
If you take Him away, there is nothing but waste.

So don't lose this chance, for giving and sharing,
The chance to enjoy, the meaning of caring.

And whenever you give, give as our Father above;
He gave of Himself, His Son, His Love.
