Warriors

As I look at the full moon, tonight,
I wonder ... is it the same one you see?
I think of you, over in the cold desert,
Wondering if you are safe and warm.

Will you be returning home to us, tonight,
In our dreams ~ as we can only think of you.
You are one and, yet, so many;
Faceless and nameless. Yet, we love you still.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, constantly.
We thank God for you, our fellow Americans,
Who will not let a world decide for them
What is right or wrong.

You are the men and women
In our armed services,
Giving your heart and lives
To bring freedom to a needy nation.

God Bless and Keep You
Mighty Warriors
