Created Memory

Memories created as you held me that night,
Our eyes meeting there, by the candlelight.
Your fingers touch me, your kiss on my cheek,
Leaving me breathless, weightless and weak.
As I felt your body up against my own,
The world around me disappeared, it had gone.
Each moment so natural, or so it seemed,
As if it had been inside of a dream.
All the thoughts are safely tucked away,
As I save these memories for a rainy day.
